Compliance
With the experience gained in the course of our practice in the field of company law, we decided to launch a dedicated compliance service for our clients. The service offered by EMPIRIUM comes as a response to the dynamic changes in Polish law, including tax law, and the fact that entrepreneurs need to face new administrative and legal obligations which may lead to hefty administrative fines or even criminal proceedings if not complied with or if fulfilled improperly. This service consists in continuous monitoring of changes in legal regulations, including tax matters, and legal advice on how an entrepreneur should adapt to the changes introduced by legal acts. This also includes fulfilling reporting obligations on behalf of the client, sending documents to public administration bodies, implementation of regulations, security policies and management policies.
This is a service that may be of interest to foreign entrepreneurs planning to invest in Poland. It covers compiling the necessary documentation, including business licences from public administration bodies, and proper management of tax settlements. We provide up-to-date advice on the rights and obligations of foreign entrepreneurs towards Polish public administration bodies, including tax authorities, as well as their own employees and counterparties. We analyse documents and regulations adopted by foreign capital groups for compliance with Polish law. We supervise the process of signing and filing annual financial statements and management accounts.
The EMPIRIUM law firm provides the following services:
